We have multiple trucks and drivers also commited load scheduals to keep, so we have to keep moving. We lose drivers and customers if we slow down even 1 week. There is just no loyalty left in this industry for good job done as we even lose loads to under cutting after never missing a load. We see brokers hog up loads then just not cover them @ their rate as they never lose money on a load period. He told us that with a signed confirmation sheet that listed all of the load details including detention time rules and expectations it would be a sufficent document to use for a legal action for collections. Whether he is right or not is a different thing. The other problem though, in my opinion, is how do you force collection of a couple of hundred dollars?
