Most of us can tell the story of how our grandparents paid cash for the farm when they bought it, less than 100 years ago. Now today many cannot even pay cash for the seed to plant it. Same holds true for trucking, 20 years ago most of us paid cash for fuel. What frightens me is how many young folks have no idea how backward the working man has went. We have traded fair wages for high debt, as long as the credit cards keep on coming, these young kids think life is just peachy, living in mom and dads basement. When our ancestors immigrated here from Europe, it was because Europe was so screwed up at the time, that a farmer could live on the land and work it, but he would never own it. He was just a slave for the wealthy, but in America you could prosper, if you survived the harsh conditions, and being attacked by the unknown. Now that the world has been discovered, there is no where left to flee to this time, so I can see a very dark time approaching us, driven by the need survive. All across the globe, governments are failing right now. Now the diesel runs through my veins and I am addicted to it. We truckers and farmers are being manipulated by the very system that is supposed to be protecting us.\n \n So here I am just like the farmer working hard but reaping less and less reward for doing so.\n \n I don't need the gooberment to be involved in my business, I need them to effectively govern. They have not done that for a very long time. They are bought and paid for by the Mega-Corporations lobbying groups.
