INSURANCE CERTIFICATE HOLDER BEWARE!!
Beware ....If you receive a cert of Ins from a agent/broker from PA or OH naming you as a certificate holder, they may not be valid. If you file a claim and
find out the cert. is not valid, you have no recourse. other than to file a lawsuit. there is no law in PA or OH from stopping an agent/broker in producing a bogus cert. in c/o their insured. there is no law thats makes their E&O info open to the public, they don't even have to file this on a state level. My best advise is if you are named as a cert.holder call the insurer to make sure they have a copy and everything is correct . NOT the producing agent ! i know this becuse it has happened to me.
