MAC PNEUMATIC TRAILER FEEDBACK NEEDED

Aug 14, 2012 at 03:53 PM CST
We're looking at moving to Mac pneumatic trailers (we currently use Heils) and are looking for feedback from anyone who has used them.

Longevity - do they hold up? How many years do you typically see out of them used daily?

Unload time compared to other trailers?

Has anyone ever had any warranty issues?

Repair/Maintenance costs comparatively?

I have had my Mac since Jan. 2012. It is a 1050 sand model. So far it has been a great trailer. I can generally unload it in about 30 minutes or less depending on hose length and pressure requirements. The only complaints I have on them, is that the tread tape on top is coming off, and the lighting is the truck-lite led's. The problem with the truck-lites is they are a different connector than the usual two round pin. When they go out its almost impossible to find one on the road. Very Good trailer in my opionion, when taken care of they hold there factory shine for quite a while. I have heard of a cracking issue in the front supports, but apparently Mac has a fix for that.

How are they on weight?
