I would get your charge air cooler checked. If it's leaking you can loose a lot of fuel. What kind of tires do you have? Tires play a big part in fuel mileage. You need to find low rolling resistance tires. www.americamovesbytruck.com has a list of rolling resistance for most tires. Try and find tires with the lowest number for drives and trailer. Michelin energy drives are the lowest. Yokohama TY 517 MC2 are very good as well. 3.90 is geared pretty low. That setup would work best 55-60 mph. He was light, but I would start checking things like the other post said. I also checked the computer for this trip, and he drives right around 65.
