And it's nice to see some good news on this forum instead of the doom and gloom. I took a load last Wednesday out of Hanceville, AL to Charleston, SC. Rate was fair on it to me because I had a load in Charleston back to Pittsburgh to get the driver home for the holiday weekend. Took 10hrs to load Wednesday, so driver wasnt able to deliver Thursday. Then, Friday morning the load was rejected, and reconsigned to Lumberton, NC, 200 miles away(Didnt get that notification of new destination til 1pm). Driver made Lumberton Friday at 530pm, turned around and back to Charleston to get the reload. I was frustrated, and figured I was going to get bent over the barrel on the deal, but Marlene Doar from Rocky Wells got what we were asking for the detention, reconsignment, deadhead, etc. I havent done alot of work for them before, but this experience ceratinly put her in a good light for any future endeavors, and I wouldnt hesitate to work with her again.\n \n Safe travels guys.", "forumContentHtml": "I know brokers get a bad rap in this industry, but when one does a good turn, it needs passed on. I know brokers get a bad rap in this industry, but when one does a good turn, it needs passed on. And it's nice to see some good news on this forum instead of the doom and gloom.
