THE FACTOR FACTOR

To Factor or not to Factor seems to be the question that I am hearing on a daily basis from carriers everywhere.

Over the last year I have researched and reviewed dozens of companies that are in the Factoring business. I have come to one conclusion. READ THE FINE PRINT!!!

I have heard hundreds of stories almost all of them bad about Factoring companies. This would always seem to be the case and one would be led to believe that they are all bad. That is not the case. Good news travels fast, and bad news is like lightening.

I only know of one company that truly offers a real service to the carrier. If you want to know, email me and I will gladly tell you who they are. [email protected].

When I find another I will add them to my list of companies that are actually offering the right kind of service for the carrier. Here is the qualifying list:
  • no extended contract
  • no monthly minimum
  • no exclusive agreement
  • nonrecourse
  • less than 24 hour or same day funding
  • no fees for not factoring
These items are a starting platform for service. If they cannot guarantee these in writing stay away. You need flexability in how you run your company, don't allow them to become the CEO, CFO of your operation.
