Has anyone ever heard of a driveshaft having to be timed?

I think it might pertain to two piece driveshafts? Maybe the U joints have to be 90 degrees of each other to maintane balance

Never heard of timing..but aligning..as in making sure the U joints all line up..if they aren't.you will get vibration..

Yes and a balonance too. It will take the viberation out of the truck. Also u joints and bearing last longer.

Yes, the yoke on both end the driveshaft have to be aligned were the U-joint goes in, if there not take slip joint apart and turn it so both ends are in the same position.
