Seen a article in CDL life the the other day where the ATA claimed 70% of drivers are forced to violate HOS to find a parking spot, apparently now that all the non megga carriers are forced to adhere to HOS the ATA’s members can’t find parking? Maybe instead of focusing on shoving the ELD down everyone’s throat they should have focused on raising rates so truckers could afford to pay for parking? Instead of suppressing rates by flooding the market with immigrants? They seem to hold the socialist view point that the taxpayers should pay for our parking.
