AGRICULTURAL EXEMPTIONS PASSED

Seems to me there has been a double standard created here. I grew up on a farm and used to be a farmer for over 20 years and am now in the trucking business. I have had a CDL license and med card as long as there has been a CDL license, because it was the right thing to do even though I didn't have to have one. CSA has gone over the top with "safety" provisions for commercial truck drivers but seems to turn their heads away from the farm truck drivers. Aren't these trucks driving on the same highways as the rest of the "commercial trucks" and motorists? In my opinion, a farm truck is a truck and can do as much damage in an accident as a commercial truck. What are your thoughts?
