It is costly to do if you have to buy the trailer. That pressure tanker costs a boatload of money to buy. We used to need hazmat on both your authority and cdl license. The cost of the liability insurance was to the point where it made it unaffordable for us to continue to do it. Also make sure you know the regulations on safe haven overnight parking frontwards backwards and sideways. We were running into a lot of problems with places not allowing our drivers to park overnight due to problems associated with a leak of the material. I hauled the product for a lot of years and never had a problem with the transportation end of it, but your drivers need to be aware that they need to be alert and focused on the job at hand because that material can come back and bite you and bite hard if your driver is not fully aware of it at all times. Getting burned with anhydrous can be a serious problem. I never worried about myself but there is always a risk involved with it.
