BE DILIGENT

Do not align yourselves with individuals who think this business is a scam artists paradise. Network among those in your hometown. You will still need to be cautious. Preferably do not associate unless you know someone personally who has used the product or service and can give you the opportunity to participate with eyes open. There are many crooks, charlatans in this business. With a little effort you will find individuals and companies who DO NOT charge transaction fees for things like fuel vouchers, notto mention transaction fees for anything that could possibly be attached. Who DO NOT charge large deposits or large weekly fees plus wear and tear charges on rental equipment. Who DO NOT skim your rates on a higher negotiated rate just because they think they can get away with it. Legitimate entities and they are numerous frown on these scam artists. But to date there is little that can be done except to be scrupulous. If you think you are being scammed by a industry service don't settle get out. You are in charge. I did and now I not only am making excellent earnings my working atmosphere is second to none. I did my homework and picked out s truck/ engine combination that sees little shop time for nagging repetitive problems that dealerships are reluctant to admit are unsolvable. Unfortunately company drivers are the lowest level of the food chain in this business. But even that has to change or there will be a several more parked trucks than there are currently. Life can be good for an independent owner operator just watch your step while walking crossed the cow pasture. Thanks again.
