The tarp systems are the same for both trailers so your not solving anything there. I had a minimal problem with water running in the front on the belt. There are ways to make that better. If you really know your floor it's not that hard to keep things dry. I'm probably going to buy a belt soon. From what i remember the belt was a lot tougher to clean the walking floor was. The flaps on the belt seemed to hang on to material even when you thought you had every thing washed down. Water penetration wasn't a big problem with either trailer as long as you kept the teflons in the walking floor replaced and maintained. We always had a drag tarp , I think one gent called it a chase tarp but i am betting it is the same thing, that we put on the floor if there was a risk for slushy or wet conditions. We also \"doctored\" the front and read of the belt trailer to stop water penetration on that trailer.
