Dear brokers, shippers, carriers, Please, if you don't know, there is a difference between an AG hopper and a commodities hopper trailer.
It's the size of the doors. The bigger the door, the steeper the slopes.
In other words, stop loading difficult commodities on ag hoppers. All you are doing is holding up everyone whom has the RIGHT equipment for the product being hauled. WAKE UP.
I know I am not the only one who is sick and tired of being stuck at a feed mill or a pet food plant behind someone who loaded protein, or rice bran, etc. on an AG hopper that has been unloading for 3 hours, because it won't come off. Get it together people, buy the right equipment for the job, or get out of the way !
