CARRIER - BROKER RELATIONSHIP
Is there anyone else that thinks the Carrier / Broker relationship is broken. My background is engineering and land planning. I had a site engineering company for 8 years until the economy went down in flames. I spent two years as a business consultant helping people start companies and get everything setup. That is how I got involved in freight and transportation. I have read magazines like Logistics Management for years but had no first hand experience. I would just like to here from all of you what you like and or dislike about normal Carrier/ Broker interaction and ways that you would like to see it improved.
