ColdRelease Dump/Hopper Anti-Freeze
We have found a new product for treating dump beds and hoppers to keep loads from freezing in the beds. I have 11 end dumps and have tried everything under the sun (like everybody else) and have been very pleased with this. We have used it all last winter with great results, including overnight loads of B scrap and C-fines with temps in the - single digits and the load comes right out.
ColdRelease is completely Bio-gradable product made from food grade plant extracts, water soluble, non-corrosive and odorless. It's all natural so our customers are happy we're not contaminating loads and is good down to -35F.
We apply it with a basic garden type sprayer. It has a special bonding agent in it that helps is adhere to the bed, so in many cases we are hauling 2 loads from a one application.
ColdRelease comes in 5 Gal bucket for $ 45, 55 Gal drum for $ 440 or a 275 Gal tote for $ 1925.
