If it stays as it is now, with a large percent of loads posted, you click on view load all you get is call the broker for details. I do not see this as a great service to pay for. For shippers the fee is to view the truck info and use the Carrier Finder tool. ALL other features will always remain completely free, including this forum. So, you can continue using the site at no charge and you won't get any bill in the mail. You just won't be able to view load details.\n \n We've been running this service without making a penny for a year and a half. We're simply trying to provide for and feed our family like everyone else. Just as you cannot operate a truck for free, we can't continue operating all aspects of this service for free. \n \n Our goal is to always continue to build and provide services to help your business, but it takes time and money to do this. For example, we're in the process of implementing PC Miler to calculate accurate truck miles on loads and also allow users to run their own miles without having to go out and buy the whole software package from PC Miler which is very expensive. But it's also very expensive for us to implement. \n \n Just as shippers/brokers post loads, carriers can post their truck as well at no charge whatsoever. You guys have done an awesome job on this website and for that my hats off to you. I've been running hoppers for 11 1/2 years all around ohio and surrounding states. I have gained alot of useful knowledge about this industry over the past year or so. I have really enjoyed this free service in which I used to access many different brokers/shippers and their freight offered. I can definetly say that these priveledges are worth $30 for someone who uses multiple brokers in multiple locations throughtout the month; or a decent sized fleet of 5 or more trucks. As for myself I have customers whom I'm dedicated to 95% of the time. The other 5% is where this site comes into play for me. As a single truck/trailer owner operator it's hard for me to fork out $30 a month in order to find a load or two a month to fill in the gaps, as I'm watching all my pennies line up. I hope you understand where I'm coming from on this as I realize I'm a very small part of the equasion here. Thanks for everything you guys have done up to this point. Which means someone is taking time to build, develope, and maintain a great website. Without a monthly subscription the person that maintains this website is not drawing much of a paycheck off of advertisements alone. So I compelety understand charging a monthy subscription .. it could be worse, it could be 50.00 plus like other load boards. We all have families to feed.. Im just glad to find a website with so much information for realitivly inexpensive cost. Without a monthly subscription the person that maintains this website is not drawing much of a paycheck off of advertisements alone. EVERY TIME

Why is it that every time we get something half way cool they have to charge us for it? Charge the brokers to list loads. Maybe that would help sort them out.
