Grain, feed, and fertilizer type loads don't usually have that urgency. It can sit for someone to haul it cheaper if someone is willing. The issue really is, a carrier should only be moving those loads that pay enough to put some revenue back for future expenses, and fuel for the following runs, not just fuel money for the load you are under. That is why so many on this board are constantly preaching about these current rates. It isn't sustainable to always need the pay for the current load to cover current expenses. If one is to use the buyers/brokers in the reefer business u always get money for fuel on the front end...With the folks on BLK no one wants to give u anything or they say they dont do that...Makes it hard when money is low...Any thots....
