I changed to 3.36 and brought the rpms down, but not as much as I wished. I would like to try some 3.08 and I know they are out there haven't found any used ones though. I haven't driven a Detroit since the old 238 and 318 days. They might be fine. I have an ISX and can't find anything good about it. That whole EGR stuff is a disaster. Where you got white hot turbos, and flames coming out of the stack. that was a great little engine. Or the old 300's where they clamped off the return line so you could get more power. And these kids think they have big power or it might break...ohhhh that's right we were regulated then and had money to fix it or turn it up more. Have you talked to Pittsburg power about their ceramic pistons? They claim that they can fill your needs if your pocket book can handle it.
