You add the O/O that doesn't know what it cost to operate a truck and always pays themselves whatever is left if any. A huge and growing amount of this falls at their feet. When is the last time you saw a farmer driving an old pick up truck and having to stay up at night to make it work for tomorrow? Not much of a comparison, but the best I could come up with, I think you get the point. In our area we can get livable freight rates from the old established Commodity guys, but the big new one coming in from Mn is hurting the hell out these little guys and those of us that haul the loads.
