I'M JUST WONDERING?
Has anybody noticed that a barrel of oil is at $95.00 right now and we are still paying close to $4.00 a gallon for diesel. In the fall of 2010, a barrel of oil was at $80.00 and we were paying well under $3.00 per gallon for diesel. As the fall continued into winter, the barrel of oil continued to rise, all the way up to over $140.00 per barrel in 2011. We all were paying $4.00 a gallon for diesel, (or more). Now a barrel has come back down to $95.00 per barrel and we all are still paying close to $4.00 per gallon, when it should be down to about $3.09. It certainly appears to me that either the fuel companies, or the middleman is taking advantage of the situation. Does anybody know what the heck is going on and why we're paying so much per gallon when the barrel is down?
