I have a 2005 Volvo with an ISX Cummins. Driver says truck won't start. Just rolls over but won't fire. He says there is fuel in filters and has even tried either. There is Half tank of fuel. Is it fuel pressure solenoid or a relay, what. I need help.

Thank you guys. He is near Sacromento. I will have to fly out and check on it. I thought about lift pump being bad but don't know until I get there. Keep the Help coming gives me things to try and look at when I get out there. Thank you again Men!!!

Cummins West is in West Sacramento. They have great mechanics. It might be cheaper to have them look at it than fly out.

And they can go right to the problem...It's going to be real cheap.....OR real expensive....It might be the electronics...or some thing is plugged... |

I have a 08 ISX . had the same problem before. a time or too. you have a air blockage in your fuel filters. take the both off and mak shure there full of fuel . put them back on and it will start. goo luck

I got it fixed men thank you for all the help. It turned out I had a broken wire at the battery cable. It looked fine... But was busted inside the insulation where the wire meets the connection to the battery. That is why it was throwing all the codes. Not enough voltage. I sure miss the days of the 3406's and big cam 855 cummins. Life sure seemed alot easier before cell phones and computers in everything we own. Again THANK YOU EVERYONE

A lot of that happens..You can thank the states that use calcium cloride....Read up on it...It may melt the snow...but it also eats up any exposed wiring and basicly your truck...It runs circles around salt for dmage...Glad you got the problem solved.. |
