Jack Hammer, Sledge Hammer and Joe Moosejaw
One day Jack and Sledge Hammer were contacted by their banker Rob Barron. Rob Barron had an investment opportunity that he wanted to bring them in on. Jack and Sledge looked over the deal and felt that it was a good opportunity and agreed to the deal. Rob Barron promised to pay Jack and Sledge back even if the deal went sour. After a few months the deal went sour and their banker Rob Barron ended up losing all of their money.
Rob Barron called Jack and Sledge Hammer and told them, “Sorry, the investment went bad and I have lost all of our money. I will not be able to repay the money that I promised to pay you back. Will you please forgive me?”
Jack and Sledge said they understood and sometimes things like this happen. They told him to not even worry about it.
A couple of months later Sledge decided that he wanted to buy a new legacy W9 to replace his old one. He knew their cousin Joe Moosejaw in Canada had always wanted his old one. He called up Joe and offered the truck to him for $45,000.00. Joe went to his banker but the banker would not loan on a truck that old. Sledge asked his banker Rob Barron if he would finance the truck for Joe. Rob Barron said he would, and the deal was done.
A few months later when Joe Moosejaw was full into harvest, he was struggling to make the payments on the truck. The prices of grain had fallen and he was having it awful rough, he called Rob Barron and explained the problem and asked him for a little time to get caught up.
Rob Barron started yelling at Joe “Hell no! If you don't get those payments caught up by the end of the month, I will repo the truck!” After one month Rob Barron repossessed Joe's truck and Joe ended up about to loose his farm over the whole deal.
Joe then called his cousins and told him what had happened. This pissed off both Jack and Sledge because they knew that Rob Barron had owed them 10 times the amount that Joe had owed him. They sent money to Joe so he could survive the bad time and not loose the farm. They decided to have their attorney go after the money that Rob Barron owed them. When the attorney went to court it was found that Rob Barron had not really invested their money but actually bought a vacation home in Florida with it. It was also found that Rob Barron had been taking others money, trucks, and farms as well. The judge and jury found him guilty and stated that Rob Barron was to pay back the Hammer brothers not only their money but an additional 1Million as well. Rob Barron pleaded once again for forgiveness but the Hammer brothers were having no part of it this time. Rob Barron ended up losing everything and was thrown in prison for fraud, he was to stay in prison until he worked off all the debt that he had stolen from others.
