The guys I have leased onto me there plates and ins are in my name under my authority I take all the fees out of there settelment. so when you decide to lease a truck ya want to make sure they are not goin to hit the road in junk it will go on your dot report. then you get there plates for them and add them to your ins. you can split there ins and make them carry there own cargo that way if they have a loss your ins rate is not affected.", "contentHtml": "there are many ways it can work. Cause it can be a big mess if they are caught with out. He is considered a subcontractor and you dont need to with hold anything as far as taxes go.
