I could find good paying loads all day long going to SW Missouri, but had extreme difficulties finding something back our direction. You might phone ADM in St. Louis, Mo. (I forgot the broker there I worked with), he has soybeans coming out of that area back to Hall Street in St. Louis. The rate however is very poor per bushel unless its gotten better since then. The loads I hauled paid well enough to compensate the poor ADM rate. But there were several times it didn't and I would dead head home rather than haul someone's product cheap.
