NON-FERROUS METAL HAULING - ANNUAL CONTRACTS ONLY

We are NOT seeking spot quotes based on your daily availability.

Covanta Energy Corporation, an Energy from Waste power company, extracts non-ferrous metals out of the ash stream of our power plants. This metal is either greater than 3/8 or smaller than 3/8 of an inch in size. We are looking to establish long-term commitment contracts with carriers that can provide the equipment needed, when it’s needed and the best rates.

This is consistent work that will start up the end of this year. We are looking at moving these metals to one of four possible destinations dependent upon the transportation cost. We may go a long distance if the metals vendor gives us the best rate and the transportation numbers support it.

This can be moved in numerous types of equipment; dumps, tipping trailers, tipping hoppers, etc.

If interested, we need a commitment to provide 100% of the service needs to a plant or plants. Please present your rates either per ton or per mile and submit numbers for as many lanes as possible. The attached spreadsheet outlines all origins going down the rows and the 4 possible destinations being considered across the top. Please contact me for this information in spreadsheet format if interested for submitting your numbers.

We need pricing to the following possible destinations:

Auburn, NY

Chicago, IL

Henderson, KY

Toledo, OH
