Opened up a Truck Wash and trying to get the word out, need help
Hello Everyone, My name is Chris Chappell and I am the owner of Superior Power Washing down here in Corpus Christi Texas.
We have been power washing for over 25 years and just opened up a Truck Wash because of all the owner operators mentioning that they did not have a location for us to go wash their trucks at and I thought it would be a great idea for all the Truck Drivers bringing in loads or picking up loads here and would like to get a truck washed.
We have our website ranking good on Google, Yahoo and Bing and we have our facebook page doing good also but after sending out postcards, handing out a lot of business cards the drivers are not coming in so I am guessing that not many Truck Drivers are on Facebook or on the internet as they are driving all day for their job.
I just bought a CB radio to mention the truck wash on occasion but I heard not many Truck Drivers use the CB radio that much with all of the cell phones and smart phones out there but I will give it a try and see if that helps.
I have had some success with our youtube video titled "Truck Washing in Corpus Christi Texas" and that has brought me some customers but I need more customers in order to keep this place open long-term. The company website is www.truckwashingcorpuschristi.com and our facebook page is similar to that name but I don't want this post to look like it is spamming the internet as I just signed up here.
I am listed on some websites for Truck Drivers when they break down or are looking for a truck wash on those apps but I need to reach more drivers, especially local drivers.
We only have a small sign on the building as we are only leasing the property and cannot put up a sign unless we renew the lease at the end of the year and spend over $6,000 on a sign and permits so we have our hands tied right now as for a sign.
I am having a couple thousand fliers made to hand out, should be here in a week and then we can give those out along with business cards that have a map to our location so Truck Drivers can see at a glance where we are exactly.
I am asking Truck Drivers what do you think would be some other ways to get the word out to local and over the road drivers that we finally have a truck wash open here in Corpus Christi Texas?
