Hi kevin I havent done this myself but some of my neighbors have, and they love the results.couple of the guys run w900L kenworths and pull 6.5 mpg with 80,ooo @ 75 mph. Drive line spec's are ISX cummins 18 speed eaton tranny with 3.55 axle ratio on 11R22.5 tires. Absolutly no problems with ecm codes. I know these guy's personally and they do not B.S about stuff, their word is good as gold. They have been running this setup for 3 years now with no problems of any kind.

You can't beat an ISX with a PDI kit! Mine is in front of a 1600 ft. lb. 10-speed, so the ECM is not turned as high as most.

I put that setup on my 06 ISX. I averaged .8 MPG improvement. It is expensive, I spent about $10,000 and I installed everything myself. I chose the nozzle ring turbo which helps out more by having a larger housing, and can be fine tuned by changing the rings. As im sure you know this is not legal but ive got inspected before by the DOT and they cant tell and probally wouldnt care if they could tell, its just the EPA thats worried. Between the MPG improvement and not having to change EGR's, coolers, and trubos every year I think its well worth it considering if you keep the the truck for a few years.

I have 6 ISX Cummins. All but one have been Egr delete and ECM tuned by PDI. Absolutely the best money I've ever spent. Fuel mileage is up almost amile per gallon and with much more power. The 05 we did an in frame on was set up with the PDI stage 2 tune with their manifold and Stage 2 Big Boss turbo. Its an absolute beast making an estimated 750 hp. We pull hoppers so we're close to or at gross weight all the time. You are looking at about 6000 for that setup.

Definitely worth having egrs removed, I had Pittsburgh power remove mine and gained 1 mpg immediatly on a series 60. They charged me 7k for egr delete, new turbo, and ported manifold.Quite a chunck of change, but paid for itself quickly with milage gain.Engine runs 10 to 15 degrees cooler and much less soot in oil. Best money I ever spent.Sadly the epa is starting to clamp down on some shops.

The question we need to start asking is "what is our EPA exposure going to be?" I look for this to be coming fast.
