SCALES AT I65 GILES COUNTY, TN

Had a driver get pulled in for inspection at Giles County Tn scales last week. just had PM done on truck the week before everything checked out fine. DOT officer found one steer axle brake with defective push rod in chamber also said there was oil contamination on axle 2 right side and axle 3 left side so he put driver out of service. I called a mech out to fix the problem. Granted the steer axle brake was inoperable but he said there was no contaminate on the other axles. said he gets called out to those scales all the time for the same problems. Now I have a OOS added to my CSA when it really wasn't an OOS violation. I guess they get a gold star if they shut down so many trucks in a week. What are these guys trying to do? Put us all out of business. There are too many inconsistencies in their unbalanced system. It just doesn't seem fair to me.
