Not until I called multiple times and insisted on speaking to someone did I finally get a reply that the load was not picked up. The dispatcher that booked the load never offered any recovery of it. Ive been hiring trucking firms and dispatching trucks for 36 years so Im aware of the ups and downs of daily business. What I cant abide are those that dont take responsibility for their actions. It was bad enough that the load wasnt picked up. The problem compounded when they didnt notify me Monday that they werent going to pick it up. Then when I emailed and called Dodge City Express yesterday they knew the load wasnt picked up yet they wouldnt reply to my emails or return my phone calls. Ive never posted on this forum and wouldnt have today had it not been for them jerking me around all day yesterday avoiding me.
