DOT Haz-Mat dump freight, what kind of premium?
We have a customer that may require us to haul some haz-mat (class 8 corrosive solid) cargo locally. This is a material we have hauled for 17 years, but the shipper thinks they may need to change the classification. Does anyone here haul haz-mat in dumps and what kind of premium does it get over normal bulk loads?
