Is anyone aware of brokers, carriers, or non-profits looking for power only units to aide in delivery or staging of emergency supplies to the effected states? Just looking for a way smaller carriers can help those in need after such devistation.

I'd be interested in helping also. We run hoppers but could rent reefers or dryvans if necessary.

I sent it to your email, good luck. I have never worked with that broker, so they could not be overly reputable or they could be great.

Members - I'm sharing this email I received if anyone can help and reach out to Clarissa.

Hi Jared:

I am working on a followup article to one I wrote yesterday about ways folks can volunteer or donate to Hurricanes Helene and Milton victims.
I have a livestock organization in mid-Missouri that contacted me. Farmers there have donated 7 loads of hay to help farmers feed their livestock in western North Carolina. Unfortunately, they don't have the equipment needed to haul the loads or cover fuel costs.
Do you have any contacts that are volunteering their equipment to hurricane-hit areas or have the resources to cover fuel expenses?
I'm just spitballing ideas because I know how desperate some of these folks in the six Southeastern states are right now. The folks there also can't find pet food for their dogs and cats.
If you get a chance and have some ideas, please let me know. My number is 417-840-0331.
Thanks in advance,
Clarissa
