New normal??
Does it seem to anyone else like the rate of change in the industry has accelerated? I sold 3 trucks and trailers earlier this year due to low rates and volumes. Didn't seem like there was much that paid enough to pay a driver and still make anything. I've been doing other work lately but the last week or so dipping my toe into the water again it seems like it's worse.
People think $2.50/ mile on loaded miles is a good rate?
What's the deal with all these brokers I've never heard of?
Seems like a lot of loads get pushed out to multiple brokers so they don't know if they actually have them or not.
I admittedly have been out of the loop so I'm just curious if I caught an off week or if these things are the new normal?
