WHY DO BROKERS POST LOADS AND NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE?

I called him on thurs. 21, left a message with name,number,and type of equipment I have.Never recieved a response,and the loads are still posted on both sites.

I've even posted my truck a couple times and had loads posted in that area shortly there after. Did anyone call? Nope. Did the brokers/shippers check to see the availability of equipment? Nope. They just post the loads and sit back and wait for their phone to ring. Less work for them for the same money. Other than that, it's just rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and bad business. Definitely lets a person know what they think of us and OUR business. I refuse to let myself be treated like that. Myself, if I call a shipper/broker and they don't call back within a reasonable time, I take them off the list. It's that simple. I'm now running for a select number of shippers on a regular basis and it's awesome. It'd be great if all O/O's could get in to that position. Granted, I do make the cold call on a posted load now and again like everyone else. It's not always a perfect week. Hope everyone is having a fantabulous weekend!!
