There are several brokers on here listing the same loads, it's happening more than normal it's getting pretty crazy. Funny thing is all these loads they are listing you can get them yourself direct, don't be fooled.

Why? Because no one said they couldn't. Unless they are expressly told they cannot repost/rebroker the load list, they can advertise it any way they want to. I guess it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Here's an interesting tidbit/loophole we found out the hard way when an associate unfamiliar with the name or reputation released information to the wrong person:

These companies can get ahold of a list of jobs and repost it under their company name without permission. Why? Because no one said they couldn't.

Unless they are expressly told they cannot repost/rebroker the load list, they can advertise it any way they want to. I guess it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Daniel, the missouri board has several shipper direct which is commonly a norm on that board, but there's a few bad apples listing the same stuff for 1 to 5 cents per bushel cheaper. Good thing we are independents and can get it ourselves from the shipper on most of these. I feel bad for the new guys that don't know that game.
