I saw the video posted of the Blind Cat. Watched a couple more from Youtube. There is a Blind Cat Rescue in NC. They need homes. They would make great Truck pets. A cat in your truck really is a lot of fun. Not much up keep with all of the modern products. Really pisses the guys off with dogs in their trucks at night. Kind of like having a noisey reefer, no one wants to park around you.

I understand that running around with a cat probably isn't really a guy thing or manly or something. The cat that I have in my truck I found on the side of the road as a kitten 2 years ago, someone threw her away. Eight weeks old by a phone pole more than 10 miles from humans. My son travels with 2 rescue cats. Yes I admit it we like cats. I don't understand people mistreating any animal. I have had a number of people stop me at fuel islands and ask questions, mainly on smell. Not a problem if you put ANY effort in to care. If I can get ONE person to take one of these cats I have succeeded. My cats persence makes me forget about the problems of the day. Gives me something to be responsible for. No explanation, just makes the day better. I have a family that tolerates me, not homeless or anything weird.
Like a lot of us these animals need someone to give them a chance. Please reach out and help any of the no kill shelters, but if a cat might make your day a little better try this. These animals didn't ask to be harmed, abused or born with a disease. All of these shelters will take the animal back if it doesn't work out. No questions asked. No blame for you. You tried. If my Cat house wasn't full I would take one in a heart beat. Yes pun intended.
Politics prevent me from having an impact on humanity. I can and do have an impact on animals. I hope it is positive. I am not the one to judge.
I don't care to converse with people normally. If I can provide any Info for someone to try a cat, especially one of these Blind Cats. I will be more than happy to pass any info on.
