COTTON SEED HULLS ARE A REAL PAIN IN A HOPPER. THEY ARE LIGHT FLUFFY AND THEY DON'T FLOW WELL AT ALL PLUS THEY ITCH LIKE CRAZY WHEN YOU ARE DONE KNOCKING THEM OUT OF YOUR TRAILER. VERY SELDOM GET OVER 17 TON ON A 78" 102 WIDE TRAILER. THIS IS A COMMODITY BEST LEFT TO WALKING FLOORS.

We haul hulls often. My smallest floor is a 45'x102". I think it is 115 cubic yards. Some hulls completely fill it, once in awhile not totally full. Hulls knit themselves together during transit. They come out of a floor OK but I can't imagine getting them out of a hopper. I've helped more than one hopper guy get a load of whole seed stomped and shoveled down. You'll not get much weight in a hopper. If you try it it better pay a lot cause regardless of the money your gonna work your ass off.
