I will never understand people using dispatch services. Most are illegal at best. You guys have heartattack over brokers and then sign on to this dumb stuff? Where is the logic? Oh i can't make money cause either I didn't have enough business experience OR I'm to important OR more likely im to lazy to find a load! Why? Just because the truck moves doesn't mean its profitable. Dispatcher OR broker tells you take this cheap stuff and I'll have a good one for you? Good luck. Stand up and take charge. Art Pfluger

One of the main problems with "Dispatching Services" is over the last few years or so it has become thought of as a "get rich quick" scheme primarily because there are so many offering crash courses and telling everyone how much money they can make. Go on any FB Dispatcher, Broker, Freight, Trucking Group, etc. and read some of the questions posted by those who say they have a dispatching service; A lot of young 20 something folks who know nothing about the industry asking about HOS, claims, etc. and things like "What do I say to my driver if a load is cancelled?". I agree that anyone doing this should have their authority as that would definitely cut down on these questionable operations...

Presumably the reason some of you don’t like dispatch services is because you believe they drag rates down? It seems to me that the PRO ACT would do away with the grey area that allows rate cutters to flourish, you would either be a broker or a carrier with no in between, yet look how many of you oppose the PRO ACT? If Jimmy Hoffa were hear today, what would he suggest?
