They are not answering phones. There broker authority is inactive and broker bond cancelled. We have filed on their bond for load hauled before it was cancelled. If anyone has an idea of how to get ahold of them, let us know!

I saw one of their posted loads a while back and did a Google search on their company. They have a placeholder website created in 2023 with a bunch of bogus numbers on it.

At least he shut down and stopped offering loads. Lots of brokers out there that are still offering loads and not even gonna attempt to pay you. Everybody gets desperate and takes loads they don’t want just to get home sometimes. It’s tough right now. Hell I’m losing money and everybody is paying me! It’ll get better or it won’t. But if your company hinges on whether or not you get paid for a couple loads, you need to get out.

Guys! Southwood has been shut down since September! What was it, one load you lost? Maybe 2? It happens! At least he shut down and stopped offering loads. To the post above if you dont get paid for 2 loads i agree with if are that close but guys starting out are going to need to get paid Everyone needs cash trucks dont run with out fuel These brokers need to be out lawed as does factoring companys and companies made to pay in 15 days or less I run a belly during the summer at 145 hr and get paid every week or some comies every 2 weeks we get paid siting or moving I do this OTR in the winter for cash flow and cant believe to BS one has to put up with you can make money but its not easy Sitting and waiting to unload or load short hours at most loading and unloading some are 24 hr but it seems those take 4-5 hrs to load and that cuts into everything ahead of you hrs number of loads etc ,and some except you to wait 30 days to get paid .ask them how often they get paid And they dont put in 4-500 $$ of fuel everyday so if you miss getting paid 2 loads , presue it to any means if the broker is not paying or communicating call the compnys you unloaded at get the info and explain you havnt been paid and are in the process of filing liens and also where you loaded tell them the same thing , call the broker tell them what you are doing and tell them you are leting evey place you loaded and unloaded that you are not getting paid , call the state labor boards file claims ,there are ways to get paid .Yes it takes a little time and effort but you get you money I know cuz i have done 3-4 times .I shut a guy down in ND that had 5 trucks and they say till i got paid which was one day , go after your money dont let people push you around dont haul for companies that dont in less than 15 days ,ITO'S NEED TO STAND YOUR GROUND or you will go broke ,talk about getting paid when you are sitting up the load !!!!!!!
