I have nothing but good things to say about a Thunder brand tarp. It has been trouble free and always works. They have good tarps too.

X2 on the Thunder brand. Have one on a hopper and just put one on my long dump. Solid product.

Thunder is a good brand little expensive then again they're all expensive it's made by Timpte in Lincoln. Shurco offers a good one as well little cheaper but I don't think they have as good of warranty as the thunderstone tarps do. I've heard a few stories of shurco denying warranty back when Timpte still put shurco tarps on their trailers.

I guess during the switch from shurco to thunderstone there was a few bad motors on some trailers and warranty department at shurco claimed they weren't used on Timpte so no warranty would be honored.

Whatever you do don't cob job your on cluster together. One of our trailers has somebody's conglomeration of surplus center tarp bull on it. Any amount of snow and it won't roll, there is NO WAY to roll the tarp manually it's more of a headache than what it's really worth to be completely honest and parts are definitely inferior.

Also I'm not aware of your brand of trailer if you are pulling a cornhusker spend the money on a double arm system. I've seen electrics on many cornhuskers with a single arm on the front with the motor and then shock chord on the back (that's what my other trailer has) absolutely worthless on the wind. Almost lost that tarp a few times in the wind.

Just a few things to think about.

This is my 2nd thunder brand. Love them. I also had the thunder electric power doors. Both were trouble free. The only thing about any electric tarp is they will not climb a mountain of product.
