flatbed O/O - TEXAS - BEST LANES

What are the best lanes? who can we work with directly with out brokers, what is a good fuel card? what is a good systm to use for bookkeeping? When you use brokers, how do you know your getting a good rate, boards give you a broker spot rate and brokers give you a low rate? Need all the help i can get.
