Are there any companies on load boards paying reasonable rates in today's market. I have talked to several people straight off this board and they are quoting anywhere from $1.35 to $1.75. Wondering the the load boards are a waste of time?

Ha!! More like .80 to a 1.50 a mile, but don't forget that quick pay....

Chad, it seems this board has lost its integrity. You can haul containers or pull for the megas for far more than you could ever more off this site. You better know people to survive in Texas.
