Up front this option is expensive!! However if you can see better whats it worth? I bought new 4x6 led heated headlights made by J.W.Speaker. They meet some new coming dot spec. I like the color of the light. I like how wide the beam is. 5 year warranty. Eventhough I'm not a fan of amazon thats where I got them. $200 each. It was a risk but no one bright lites me as they are dot lites rather than some of the off road stuff I had. Worth every penny to me. They have most lights we all use and in a heated version. My old LED would ice or snow OVER in a few miles. Its 115 in the shade here so I can't speak to the heated part at this time. Good luck to all. Art Pfluger

I have the same lights. Have for almost a year. Great lights. And you can avoid the tyranny of Amazon by waiting for big rig chrome shop to have specials and the price is comparable to the luftwaffe....I mean Amazon

When an oncomming truck, on a two lane narrow road, can't see the road because of LED lights blinding the driver and he hits you head on. What's that worth to you? Two lives lost.

The heater part works great. I ordered them immediately after having to park the truck on a busy shoulder and have to scrape frozen fog off the lights. Same thing with heavy wet snow. They work fantastic. I had a heavy duty set of led low beams before the jw speaker. They were ok, but terrible in winter and 9 out of 10 oncoming cars flashed high beams at me. After I got the jw adjusted correctly, I get zero people flashing highs at me. And the light is better quality in my opinion and with the shape of the light it seems to shine to the side significantly better. I'm a believer in them.

I’ve run led ( non heated) for years, recently decided to upgrade and decided to test two different models, Trux heated 4x6, and pro led ( similar to United pacific), both are impressive, the Pro led has a glass lens and appears to get noticeably hotter than trux, while the trux offers a plastic lens. Both are DOT approved and high quality aluminum housing, the pro leds were $109.00, the trux were $224.00 each. I am happy with both, but very impressed with the pro led ones, especially for the price, wish they came in chrome instead of black though. I tried a set of United pacific and had nothing but problems.

I got a pair of the Pro LED low beams . Was going to put them in a 379 but they won't stay on when i flip to high beam . Is that because they are low beam only ? They are heated as well .

I’ve heard some trucks have problems with that because the wiring goes through a computer that senses amp draw, and if they don’t draw enough current they will shut off, in those cases there are resistors that can be added to overcome that, however I don’t think 379’s run the headlight circuit through a computer. In my case I have the trux brand installed on the low beam side, and the pro brand on the high beam side. I would wire up the headlights on the bench to a battery and see if they stay on or shut off to find out if the problem is actually the lights or something else going on.

I had to reread what you posted, the coffee hadn’t kicked in yet, so they stay on until you switch to high beam? Put a standard incandescent bulb on the high beam side and see how it behaves, if the low beam still cuts out my guess is they are wired to do that. With the trux brand on the low beam side and the pro brand on the high side all 4 head lights stay on when your on high beam, same as the factory set up.
