Just bought a 48ft spread hopper, trying to find out the best way or any tricks to loading these trailers.

Kinda depends on your empty weight and state. If it's a non communist state that recognizes a spread ax, then I put 21000 in front and 35000 in back. I'm about 28k empty with mine. Hopefully that answers your question
