I believe Perdue is moving organic soybean meal (or some kind of meal) out of Baltimore back to Pantego, NC. This has been an off-on route for them. Could still be on, I don't know. Good part also is its less than 20 miles from Aurora (with a free ferry boat ride) to load DAP if you could get some of that heading back north. Shouldn't be too hard I would think....anyhow, I hope this helps and good luck.

Meal load is probably gonna need a washout.

DAP won't pay anything brokers with there own trucks cut those rates in half.

Perdue needs certified washout & they won't let you load if previous load was fert or scrap. Make sure to check with them before you load & get rejected on the other end.

Free ferry ? I need details I have been driving around.

Look on the map at Belhaven, NC...about 10 miles away there is a ferry that puts you out about 2.5 miles or so from the place. Turn right off ferry landing...couple of miles later turn right into PCS. Ferry ride is free but on a schedule. NC Ferry System has a website to look up schedule...I believe it's Bay View to Aurora. It's about a 30 min ride. Works great when schedule works in your favor.
