Got pulled into the Harrisonville,MO scale today and got wrote up weighing 81,700. Was weighing 80,500 when I loaded and was pretty much full of fuel. Drove 1,000 miles down to Springfield,MO low on fuel and came in at 79,700. The scale was just certified on 2/26/18 in Springfield,MO. Got lawyers working on the ticket now, so I'm wondering what Missouri is up to. Is this a new way to get revenue since they can't get the ELD users for anything. Thought I let everyone know about this, cause I'm not letting this STAND.

This doesn’t surprise me. All of these states are cash strapped and we are rolling revenue through their state. 31 years out here and I am tired of being subjected to every municipality and their so called law enforcement or ie. “revenue collection agency”. When the trucks disappear. Maybe then we will be appreciated. As of now we are not. We are treated as slaves and abused by so many. Shippers, receivers, feds, states, and local municipalities. Can you stop just anywhere and use bathroom facilities or gets something to eat. Also we do not have “Brains” enough to decide when we can drive or not. The government in all of their wisdom decided when we are tired and when we are not! As far as I am concerned this country can shove it! I am sick of their crap! Things need to change!

Had a similar issue at the wb scale in New Lennox, IL scale a while back. “Just certified” she said, but was about 900lbs higher than the CAT scale ticket I had. I was over on trailer axles from the beginning, but not over gross. She had me move some weight and let me go with a warning.

Found out yesterday scale had failed for the month of January and was fixed. Febuary 14 the scale was checked by the Department of Agriculture Weights and Measures and was reopened. Is going to be investigated and they will let me know the outcome. I'll pass it along when I find out.
