My pet peeves how the government waste our money

Time for a little political shoo shoo: As I sit here doing my taxes and thinking about how the government will waste the check that I send them on things that I don't agree with, I figured I would post my top ten. 1. Ship all individuals that are not native born Americans and that are on welfare back to their originating countries. I can tell you for sure that if I showed up on the doorstep of another nation and they found out that I was an American, they would not give me one bit of help financially. 2. Quit giving money to corporations in the form of grants. They should be able to stand on their own or go out of business. I don't receive any grants nor will I ask for them. I do not desire to be beholden to the government ever again. 3. Politicians should have to receive the same basic pay that they pay an average government employee. They should only receive social security as their retirement from us. This way they would quit tapping the social security and maybe start protecting it. 4. Politicians should have to abide by the same exact rules and regulations that they write. 5. We should not give any monies to support any other nation until we have a surplus in our budget. 6. Bring our soldiers home, we do not need to be fighting others BS wars, if we do we should be charging them for our troops being there and mark up the cost by 20% to offset our problems at home. 7. Quit wasting money on idiotic programs that don't work. We need to eradicate any government program that is proven ineffective. 8. Tax the shit on corporations that are doing business outside of North America. I suggest that we tax any monies that leave our Continent at a rate of 75%. Encourage local growth in our region, quit shipping our resources abroad to nations that in turn make inferior products and then sell them here cheaper than our small manufactures can do them for. 9. Quit trading with those involved with OPEC, we don't need their oil, we have enough here. 10. Finally, let me and others run our business with Freedom and Integrity. I am sick and tired of individuals that do not have integrity telling me how to run my business. They can't even manage the checkbook that we give them. How dare them tell me with their rooty tooty poo poo, PC lingo that I have to do this and I have to do that. I want my freedom back, and I will be a free man until the day I die. This way it would stop the lunacy of California and New York throwing their liberal ass weight around. There are a ton of other things on my list but we all know that they would never put a guy like me in office. I would have to make sure the 2nd amendment was protected so I could hire my own secret service. I would not trust the ones they would offer. Oh, well it will never happen. They are scared of us, that is why they are trying to write us out of existence with the FMCSA regulations that are slighted towards the Mega carriers. I believe that if things continue the way they are going currently that most of us Independent Carriers will be under the Power Only thumb of the Mega's within 5 years.
