No takers??? Huh.... should I mention the job will probably go thru March. Trucks that are currently on it are turning 3 to 4 turns per day. It's running 7 days a week for the most part daylight hours.

Well there are a few problems with going into that area..i dont know what fuel costs there.. but last week in mohave california i paid 3.59 for diesel..second you do realise that the area is very expensive to eat.. and find a motel..there are no truck stops..but you can get fuel from card locks..also do the drivers need their hazmat cert.. the clean up operators do.. they dont know what they will run into..then there is the heavy traffic you have to contend with... there is the rain..that may come or not.. and normally this is an hourly job with these clean ups..

Yup the carb thing is a problem. Have a bunch of shippers calling us to move product in and out of California. They are furious and not very pleasant as I can't run a floor for $1.55 a mile. I don't get the logic and I know there are many running for this rate. I can't and won't. Carb trucks are rediculous maintenance and costs. The last 2 I have are gone next week. I'll flip burgers before I buy another. Oh yeah like you said fuel is a tad high, Dot isa pain and I just really don't like it there. But really a $1.55 WTF are people thinking?
