Oh really! That doesn't sound very favourable for their company. You are talking about Northern Ag Service out of Omaha Ne? Tell me more. I've been considering contacting them about leasing on with them thru their dedicated dispatch program. I have not made the phone call yet. I'd be interested in more information from you and any one that has experience with them.

That's very odd. Who did you deal with at NORAG? I use them all the time and never had an issue.

Josh if I'm thinking about the correct load. The customer cancelling and shifting loads has nothing to do with how we operate as a company. Also anyone who is familiar with Nestle in Edmond wouldn't be surpised by this kind of non sense from them. If you need to discuss it more feel free to call the office.

I use them constantly. I book loads for myself all the time thru NORAG.

Yeah whats a fuel charge compared to what it cost you to chase after it and mess your day up. You should get at less 50 % of what the load was going to pay. Yes I understand customers can be difficult but that kind of difficult doesn't have to pass on to the poor trucker without fair compensation.

I work with Meric a lot and have never had any issues. Pays good and always willing to help if a problem comes up. It is a little crazy to judge a company by 1 bad experience. We all have customers that screw us over from time to time. If it continues to happen, that is a total different story.

We tried Norag, we do not use them anymore. We had some unfortunate events that took place at places we went for them that made us decide it was not working for us. As far as Norag themselves the dispatcher we used fought for us in all the unfortunate events. The unfortunate events that happened had nothing to do with Norag themselves. We got paid promptly that was never an issue. We have nothing bad to say about Norag themselves it just was not what we wanted but we would recommend them.

Not had any issues.thatd be better than getting loaded and gone and have to find a home for the load. Sometimes it's better to have a little aggravation and be able to salvage the day then be in a worse spot.

If you know they do things like this, why do you take loads from them? If you are aware of these practices do you share that information with the trucking company? This is a prime example of no skin off my back. You'll make the money but accept no risk. This is the foundation of the strain between broker and truckers. If you contracted the truck you have an obligation. If you know this situation is common with this customer you should address it. Calling out the customer for doing something unsavory, and playing the role of innocent middle man doesn't work when the behavior is common and expected as you stated.

I've run for Jordan at NORAG. Even with an issue at the receiver, Jordan got everything worked out. They paid exactly as agreed. I would definitely run for them again.

My experience with Norag has been tops. So far I’ve dealt mostly with Chad. Good guys. Communicate with them tho...especially if your late. If you keep them updated they treat you awesome. Good guys.
