Thoughts on guys hauling commercial with farm plates? Seeing alot of them out there.

I use to pull wood on private plates its because they can't say if the stuff belongs to you or who everyone that pulls sticks in virginia pulls on private plates

The rates are so low in this segment of trucking that’s the only way anyone can afford to haul it? Not to worry the National Guard will be stepping in soon to replace those aging drivers. Can government do it cheaper? Stay turned for more exciting episodes.

Barrowed a trailer with farm plates and had no trouble, was told that the IRP plate on truck took care of it.

Plates are only one issue what about IFTA fillings or for hire status or log books are they running under the same set of rules and do they use tax exempt fuel (farm fuel) what about dot physicals. I have never been against anyone striving to make a living or even making a profit that is the American way, but we should all have to play by the same rules. If you except a load for hire ( not your own product) than you should be held accountable to all the same rules and regulations as everyone else that is hauling loads for a living
